I managed to avoid the "ears" on the second one by grafting really tightly (thanks Julie and Sharon!). Not sure yet whether I will keep these or give them away.
These are (obviously) "Monkey" by Cookie A. Yarn is Socks That Rock Mediumweight in the "Meteorite" colorway. I used size 2 Knitpicks DPNs.
