I made a special trip to the Post Office tonight to send the SP10 package. At least on the way there I got to watch people on roller coasters (I live near a Six Flags and it is on my route).
One of the things I love about modern life is the ability to go to the Post Office when it is not open, and still send a package.
I was going to buy some one-cent stamps so I can use up the rest of my 39-centers, but that machine was being commandeered by some woman who was emptying her life savings into it, a penny at a time. Oh well, at least that was a different machine than the package-sending one.

How fantastic tobe able to go the post office and send a package when it is closed ....wow , we have to juggle between half days , training days and you name it ... I am so thrilled to see that someone else cooks from absolute scratch .The town where I had my weird experience was Newark , in Nottinghamshire , I still have to look at the wool to make sure it happened ...........
I think our post office got the machine about a year ago. There are some restrictions on self-sending packages (size being a big one), but it generally works great for knit-swap packages.
