There's no one to whine to, so I'll do it here.
One would think that swimming 10 miles a week would classify as being in good shape. Well, seeing as how I am not allowed to swim for a few weeks due to the recent mole removals, I have been walking for an hour every morning. Yesterday it ended up being added to, as I needed to go shopping at several different malls (or levels of hell, for me). This morning I felt like I was walking through a vat of molasses. Now it seems every muscle I have is sore - even my arms! WTF?!?
Meanwhile, I am trying to seriously de-clutter my house today. The place disgusts me. I don't know where all of this shit comes from - I don't even have children! But you can't walk through a room without tripping over mounds of stuff. I swear I want to just walk through the house with a garbage bag and throw away every stinking thing that is on the floor or a chair or somewhere else it doesn't belong.

I'm guessing that you're excersizing different muscles when you walk than when you swim. I spend a good 2 - 2.5 hours at the gym at least 4 times a week, and despite the fact that I work my arms and legs and everything else, every time I do something new, I wind up sore for a few days.
