I feel Twisted...

Although I hated all the twisted stitching and whatnot in Bayerische, I've been drawn to Twisted Flower for awhile now. I finally cast on this week and have made it through one chart repeat:


I have to say, I'm a bit impressed with myself ;) It's actually not all that difficult, but the second half of the chart (with the traveling stitches) is very fiddly and slow. It may seem easier now that I don't knit as tightly as I did a year ago!

I'm also going to be starting the February Lady Sweater. All I have to show for that at the moment is a swatch, though.

We had a great time. Unfortunately, I came home with bronchitis due to all the cigarette smoke there. I still have a bit of a cough (that may be an understatement)...hopefully it will be gone after a few more days.

Rescue

So I do have a new cast-on picture to share. This pattern is called Water Rescue socks. I started these over the weekend. I love the yarn - this is Beyond Basic Knits and the colorway is called Squirt. I got this as a prize in the Loopy Ewe Anniversary Blog contest :)



I also hope to have new FO photos very soon, as I am nearing completion on the secret sox that have been taking up all my time!
